IAVBC Members and Supporters

Logo IAVBCChair for Fish Diseases and Fisheries Biology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München is a German academic authority for aquatic veterinary medicine, education and biosecurity. Serving as the Secretariat and administrative support for IAVBC activities, the Chair oversees and coordinates a number of educational efforts and activities with help of other Consortium member organizations.

 

Logo NVINorwegian Veterinary Institute is the governmental diagnostic, reference, and research laboratory for diseases in terrestrial and aquatic animals. The OIE Collaborating Centre in Aquatic Epidemiology and Risk Assessment of Aquatic Animal Diseases is part of the NVI.

 

Logo CFSPHCenter for Food Security and Public Health at College of Veterinary Medicine, Iowa State University, USA, has been the focal point for national and international education of veterinary professionals in emerging and exotic animal diseases since 2002. The CFSPH is home for two OIE collaborating Centres: Diagnosis of Animal Diseases and Vaccine Evaluation in the Americas and Day-One Veterinary Competencies and Continuing  Education.

 

Logo CAHSCentre for Aquatic Health Sciences at Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada is the world leader in the diseases affecting cold water aquaculture. The OIE Collaborating Centre in Aquatic Epidemiology and Risk Assessment of Aquatic Animal Diseases is part of the CAHS.

 

Veterinary Medical Aquatic Animal Research Center (VMAARC), Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, is the leader in aquatic veterinary medicine in ASEAN countries.

 

The IAVBC is deeply grateful to the Consortuim members and other supporting organizations, without whose input and help in developing conferences, workshops and educational efforts to test the IAVBC approach for implementing practical biosecurity in aquaculture, would not be possible:
